Spatial Arcade

Privacy

Spatial Arcade collects no data. Nothing you do in the app is sent to us.

Effective 21 October 2026. Applies to the Spatial Arcade app for Apple Vision Pro and iPhone, and to this website.

In short

  • No accounts, no sign-in.
  • No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party SDKs.
  • We run no servers for the app, so there is nowhere for your data to go.
  • Your game files and saves stay on your devices and in your own iCloud Drive.

On the App Store, this is the “Data Not Collected” label.

What stays on your device

The app keeps your settings (screen size, 3D, controls and so on) on the device. Games may keep their saved data, such as high scores, there too. After an online game, the app writes a small technical record of that session (the controller inputs both players sent) to its private storage on the device, to help diagnose sync problems. None of this leaves your device unless you share it yourself.

Your games and iCloud Drive

Spatial Arcade includes one game, Target Range. Any other game is a file you copy yourself into iCloud Drive › Spatial Arcade (or, on Apple Vision Pro, a folder you choose). The app only reads that folder; it creates it with a README file so you can find it in Files. Before a game starts, the app may keep a working copy of its files in the device's cache.

Files in iCloud Drive are stored in your iCloud account under Apple's terms. We have no access to your iCloud account or to anything in it.

Playing together

SharePlay

Two-player games run over SharePlay in a FaceTime call, a service provided by Apple and covered by Apple's privacy policy. Between the two devices, the app sends only what it needs to keep both games in step: each player's controller input, the game's settings and saved data, the app and system versions, and a fingerprint of the game files so both sides can check they match. It never sends the game files themselves, and never your camera, microphone or screen. We don't receive any of it.

Local network

The app can also connect two devices directly over your Wi‑Fi network, and on Apple Vision Pro it can send the game's picture and sound to another device of yours on the same network. That is the only use of the Local Network permission. These connections go straight between your devices, with no server in between.

Permissions

  • Accessories (Apple Vision Pro): to track your PS VR2 Sense controllers so you can aim with them. Their position is used live, frame by frame, and is not stored or sent anywhere.
  • Local Network: only for playing on your local network and streaming to your own devices, as described above.
  • Look and pinch: the app uses visionOS's standard input. It learns where you pinched, not where you were looking.

Children

Spatial Arcade collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties: its fonts and images are served from this site. Like any web server, the host may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability; we don't use them to identify or follow anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with a new effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, this page will say so before that version is released.
