Add your games
Spatial Arcade comes with one game, Target Range, ready to play. It doesn't sell or download any other game: for those, you copy your own game files into the app's folder in iCloud Drive.
- Make sure you're signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on.
- Open Spatial Arcade once. It creates the folder iCloud Drive › Spatial Arcade, with a README inside.
- Copy your game files (.zip) into that folder: with the Files app on iPhone or Apple Vision Pro, or with Finder on a Mac. Leave each file as it is, still zipped and with its original name: the app recognises games by their file name. A folder one level down works too.
- Open Games in Spatial Arcade. While a file is still coming down from iCloud, its card says Downloading….
On Apple Vision Pro, Settings › Games Folder shows where the app is looking and how many games it found. From there you can Open in Files, Choose Another Folder… to use a different folder, go back with Use iCloud Drive, or Look Again after copying new files.
Controllers
PS VR2 Sense controllers (Apple Vision Pro)
- On Apple Vision Pro, open Settings › Bluetooth.
- Put each controller in pairing mode: hold the PS button with the Create button (left controller) or the Options button (right controller) until its light blinks, then select it in the list.
- Open Spatial Arcade. The controllers are picked up automatically, even if you pair them while the app is open. Settings › Controls › Controllers shows what's connected.
Aim at the screen and pull the trigger to fire. You'll feel the recoil on every shot. Turn on Laser Sight in Settings › Controls to see where you're aiming.
Reloading
Shoot off-screen to reload, like on the cabinet. On iPhone, tap Reload, or shoot outside the picture.
Without a Sense controller
- Look and pinch to shoot. Coin and Start float under the screen.
- A game controller: the right stick aims and R2 fires. The app lists each game's buttons on its page in Games.
- iPhone: tap or hold the picture to fire and drag to aim. Coin is at the left, Start at the right.
Leaving the game
Press both sticks at once to leave the theater. If the screen ends up off to one side, press and hold the Digital Crown to bring it back in front of you.
Play together with SharePlay
- Start a FaceTime call with your friend. Each of you needs Spatial Arcade, and for any game other than Target Range, your own copy of the game file.
- In Games, choose the game and tap SharePlay under Play Together. You can also use the share button to invite someone nearby.
- You're Player 1; your friend joins as Player 2. The game opens on both devices once you're both ready.
It works between two Vision Pro, a Vision Pro and an iPhone, or two iPhones. If one of you pauses, the game pauses for both. If your partner leaves, you can Continue Alone or Quit.
Screen and 3D (Apple Vision Pro)
These live in Settings. Some rows only appear when the selected game supports them; Target Range is a 2D game, so it doesn't show the 3D and panoramic options.
- Screen › Size: Small (about 2.5 m wide, 3 m away, nearly flat), Medium (about 4 m wide, 4 m away, gently curved) or Large (about 6 m wide, 5 m away, curved around you).
- Screen › Format: Standard or Panoramic. Panoramic shows the game's world on an ultra-wide curve around you; turn your head to see more. Panoramic Fit chooses Full Height or Crop.
- Screen › Environment: Your Room, or Dark Theater.
- Picture › 3D: stereoscopic 3D, drawn by the game for each eye. Under Advanced 3D, Strength and Depth adjust how deep it looks and how far things come out of the screen.
- Picture › Sharpen: brings back detail in soft textures.
Troubleshooting
My game doesn't appear in the library
Check that the file is in iCloud Drive › Spatial Arcade (or one folder down), that it's still a .zip, and that it has its original name. Under the library, the app lists the other games it can play and the file name each one needs: compare it with yours.
If you just copied it, give iCloud a moment, then tap Look Again.
A game says files are missing, or the zip is damaged
Some games need more than one file, and the card tells you which one is missing. A “damaged zip” or “CRC mismatch” message means the file is incomplete or isn't the version the app expects. Copy it again from your original.
“iCloud Drive is not available”
Sign in to iCloud on the device and turn on iCloud Drive, then tap Look Again. On Apple Vision Pro you can also use Settings › Games Folder › Choose Another Folder…
“Open in Files” doesn't open the folder
Open the Files app yourself and go to iCloud Drive › Spatial Arcade.
My Sense controller isn't detected
Check that it's charged and shows as connected in Settings › Bluetooth on Apple Vision Pro. Once it is, Spatial Arcade picks it up without restarting.
SharePlay won't start
Make sure you're both in the same FaceTime call, both have the latest version of Spatial Arcade, and both have the game. The app checks that the two copies match before starting, and says so if they don't.
Questions
Does Spatial Arcade come with games?

Where can I get games?
We don't sell, provide or link to games. Spatial Arcade plays game files that you own.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only for iCloud Drive to bring your files over, and for SharePlay. Once a game is on your device, you can play it offline.
